Yeah, I've got a similar system that works for me for time management. It's more a meta-question: how much time should I spend on myself/my apartment/general logistics versus deepening relationships with those I already know versus trying to get to know new people? The first is the easiest but also the loneliest; the second has an unpredictable logistic component when it isn't the PartnerBeast (so precious time I've blocked out for people isn't guaranteed to actually be time spent with those people); the third is a legitimately hard thing to do that can be demoralizing for me, but I *want* to do and believe can be *worth* doing.
The noun management solution will probably be "lots of shipping boxes and hard decisions on what's worth shipping". Thank goodness Media Mail exists.
